The winner of the SCA’s Best New Product Award in 2017, the Acaia Orion is an automatic whole bean coffee doser that marries precise control with simple design. Using the dial interface and the clear LED touch screen, you can program doses within 0.5g with a margin of error of only 2-3 beans. The Orion has variable speed dosing based on the weight selected, dispensing larger quantities more quickly and smaller quantities more steadily. Designed for use both in homes and coffee shops, the bean hopper can hold up to 350g (12.34oz) and the scale can measure up to 3kg (6.6lbs). The Orion is capable of displaying weight in both grams and ounces and is equipped with a bluetooth receiver to receive firmware updates via the Acaia App.
