BIT BoB Sydney 18g Double Filter Basket Overview

The BIT BoB series is a new family of precision filter baskets developed by legendary cup tasting champion Sauro Dall’Aglio. A new collaboration with IMS, the BoB Sydney 18g Double Filter Basket is a curved filter basket with a 471 ole count. In-cup, shots pulled through the BoB benefit from improved sweetness and boldness, with much more body and less bitterness.

With its curved design, the BoB basket promotes rapid “regrouping” of the stream of water during pre-infusion. As a result, channeling and over extraction are reduced.

Sauro put it best when he described BoB as “…A friend that everyone has, everyone knows a BoB…” The goal of the basket is to offer a simple and affordable option to home baristas as well as cafés and roasters to improve the quality of their shots.
