Unique and Italian-made, E&B Lab’s Flower Wave filter was designed to house Kalita wave paper filters. The longer petal on the filter is a deliberate feature that specifically grips the paper filter while the shorter petals aid in supporting the paper filter throughout the brewing process. Unlike many other filter holders, the flower design helps prevent changes in the coffee’s temperature while brewing as it has less surface area to absorb heat. The flat bottom of the Kalita help to guarantee an even bed depth while brewing.
